Jay & Atif’s Wedding

The Wedding Day! No hailstones in Scunthorpe today, only lots of sunshine and clear skies. I arrived at the hotel whilst Jay was getting ready, and I could see Jay was going to make a beautiful bride. Friends and family slowly began to arrive and everyone was in awe at how gorgeous she looked. The…

Jay’s Mendhi

I was introduced to Jay and her now husband Atif last year through a friend and fellow photographer Shahed. We met at my house whilst we were undergoing a renovation however I’m glad to say the rubble and dust didn’t put them off! We got chatting and instantly clicked. It felt as if we’d known…

Razina & Zaeem at The British Muslim Heritage Centre

Classy, elegant, relaxed…..a few words to describe Razina and Zaeem’s beautiful wedding day, which was held at the magnificent British Muslim Heritage Centre in Manchester, a truly grand building with bags of character. The décor was simple and elegant in design, with crisp whites, subtle yellows and sophisticated blue ribbon. In the morning I arrived…

A sentimental…

Ditto Neelam. The pictures are so beautiful and just show how beyond talented Aisha is.

She captures emotions and atmosphere so well that even now I am moved to tears looking at them.

A friendly lady with such a calming influence in the most stressful of situations. And a true professional – close your eyes and book this woman! She is hot property and worth every penny!!

May Allah swt bless you always as not only are you a fantastic photographer but also because you are one of the loveliest people I have met. Honest. :)

Best wishes for the future.

Saira and Umar xx

Saira’s Mendhi

Continued from Saira’s Sangeet……Saira’s Mendhi was an intimate, family affair, with lots of personality and bags of colour. The stage was set with layers of bright fabrics, traditional cushions and a set of tabla’s setting the scene. A facepainter kept the kids entertained and each of the guests were also treated to a set of…
